The Flash Flood Watch continues for * Portions of Arkansas and Louisiana, including the following areas, in Arkansas, Columbia and Union. In Louisiana, Bienville, Caldwell, Claiborne, Grant, Jackson, La Salle, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Ouachita, Red River, Union, Webster, and Winn. * Until noon CDT today * Showers and thunderstorms will continue pushing east across Southwest Arkansas and North Louisiana. Rainfall amounts of one to three inches, with isolated higher amounts, will be possible through noon Thursday before the rain diminishes from west to east. As a result, localized flash flooding will be possible. * Heavy rainfall may lead to flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas, as well as flooding of rivers, creeks, and streams.
